Dr. Randine Lewis has changed the face of healing in the treatment of infertility. Before her work received national attention, there appeared to be no place for Chinese medicine in reproductive medicine. Largely due to her influence, the field of treating fertility with Chinese medicine has exploded over the past 20 years.

When one's desires are out of alignment with nature, the body physiologically cannot accommodate its expression. When one longs to bring forth being from non-being, we must take into account the role of cosmic qi, the reverse phase menstrual cycle in accessing the laws of spirit, and bring them into the constitutional application according to  the eight extraordinary meridians.

This seminar is not for those who wish to practice fertility and gyn via book learning. It is for those who wish to delve into deeper energetic-psycho-spiritual issues surrounding how all life manifests. If we were not discussing fertility, this information would be applicable to depression, mid-life crisis, menopausal or any other life transition.

This seminar will cover:

  • Basic theory of the menstrual cycle, and the eight crucial points of transformation, including levels at which the endocrine system, menstrual system, cosmic qi interact;

  • Interface of the menstrual cycle and hormonal cycle;

  • The psycho-spiritual issues surrounding "infertility", and its effect on a woman's body-mind;

  • Biomedical applications to hypothalamic, pituitary, uterine and ovarian function; and application of biomedical disease processes;

  • Evaluating and addressing menstrual disorders';

  • Resolution based upon 5-element theory, and energetic application to creating herbal and acupuncture treatment plans;

  • The spirit of the practitioner, and the crucial role of being present with the spirit of the patient.

Randine Lewis, MSOM, L.Ac., Ph.D., a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, has studied both Eastern and Western medicine. After suffering from "infertility" herself, she earned her graduate and post-graduate degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, focusing on fertility enhancement. In addition to resolving her own fertility issues, she has helped thousands of women throughout the world - with natural, health enhancing methods. She lectures and publishes articles for professional groups, medical organizations, and is sought after as a medical expert. She has appeared on numerous radio and television shows throughout the country including The Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox News, and has been featured in Natural Health, Organic Style, The Washington Post, and many other publications.

Dr. Lewis authored The Infertility Cure, the Ancient Chinese Wellness Program for Getting Pregnant and Having Healthy Babies, and The Way of the Fertile Soul, Ten Ancient Chinese Secrets to Tap Into A Woman's Creative Potential.

She now offers her treatment methods, combined with the mind-body medical program for overcoming infertility in her transformative retreat process. In addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, she offers diet and nutritional guidance according to TCM diagnoses. Her work has taken on the flavor of her own personal transformative work; and she conducts 5 element self inquiry processes, qi gong, meditation, and Taoist alchemical practices in overcoming all obstructions to the life force. The majority of her work is centered on rooting in spirit, and practicing from the shen.

"You do not have to specialize in fertility and master biomedicine. You do, however, need to specialize in life, and master yourself. "
